TimeLogger and iOS 4
costmo — Fri, 06/18/2010 - 17:35
New versions of TimeLogger and TimeLogger Free have been submitted to Apple for approval.
IMPORTANT: TimeLogger Free will now require iOS 4. For those who have iPads, sorry, you won't be able to use the new version of TimeLogger Free on the iPad until Apple releases iOS 4 for iPad this Fall. If you want the new features of TimeLogger on your iPad before then, you will need to purchase the paid version.
Here is what will be new in TimeLogger 2.1.0:
* Backup and recovery moved to iTunes and is much more reliable
* iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 users with iOS 4 can now enjoy the iOS backgrounding feature so startup of TimeLogger is much faster, and you return to the exact spot where you left off.
* Fix pause/resume on iOS 3.2 and 4 (this was broken in iOS 3.2 when the iPad was released)
* Free version: Switched to iAd for a better user experience
* Alphabetized job list
* Made interface resolution independent for iPhone 4 support
* Fixed icon badges that were not correctly set under some circumstances
* Fixed rare case where notes seemed to disappear (but no data was ever lost)
* Fix some minor interface inconsistencies
* Added some minor usability enhancements
* Added User Guide
We encourage everyone who can do so to upgrade to iOS 4 when it is released on 6/21. You'll love it for reasons that are well beyond TimeLogger.
Upgrades to TimeLogger version 2.1.0 will be free for everyone who currently owns TimeLogger or will purchase it between now and the date it is approved by Apple.
