Crash After Changing a Current Entry in 1.2.2

bergant — Tue, 10/28/2008 - 08:41

There are two crash issues here:

1. When scrolling through a large number of Current Entries to get to one near the end of a month, many times the app crashes before I scroll completely through. Then I need to re-enter the app and scroll again. Scrolling slowly helps, but doesn't always prevent the crash.

2. After making a change to a Current Entry (one that has already had a Start and Stop time) and pressing Done, the app crashes when you try to go back to the Current Entries. The change is recorded, but you have to restart the app. This happens every time.

Thanks,

Tom

RE: Crash After Changing a Current Entry in 1.2.2

Hello,

This sounds similar to an issue that a very small number of other users were experiencing. We have worked with one of those users and have been able to track down and fix the cause of the issue (more information will be available on our home page shortly).

If you are having the same problem as the others, it should be fixed in version 1.2.3, which was submitted to Apple for approval today. It has historically taken Apple 5 - 7 days to process update approvals, but our last update was processed in only 3 days.

Once you have updated to the new version, we recommend power cycling your device to clear any leaked memory fragments that may be left over as the result of previous crashes.

If this update fails to fix your problem, we would very much like to know about it and work with you to get to the bottom of the issue. If that is the case, we can continue the discussion through this forum, or you can send me an email to chris@costmosoft.com

Thanks.
