We are happy to announce TimeLogger Free! (available on the App Store now)

We have been working on the details of how to achieve fully-functional (and great) software for free while still maintaining value in the non-free version. And here it is...

TimeLogger Free has all of the same great features as our popular TimeLogger, with these three differences:

  1. The presence of in-app advertising. We have to pay our coders somehow, and they have told us that Mountain Dew alone will no longer cut it!
  2. Time entries will only be saved 60 days in the past or future. You can always email yourself CSV files containing your time entries and keep those files for as long as you want, but TimeLogger Free will only hold a 60 history of your time records.
  3. The screen that enables users to contact us from directly within TimeLogger for technical support and to provide feedback won't be there. You can still reach us through our web site if you want to chat.

Be sure to click the link to the TimeLogger link at the top of the page if you want all of the details of what TimeLogger can do for you.

At CostmoSoft, we don't believe in crippleware. We're offering you a full version of a great app for free, and if that's all you ever need and the advertisements don't bother you, great! Enjoy! If you think that will bug you, TimeLogger is only $4 (USD). If you're not sure and you want to give it a try, go get TimeLogger Free. If you decide that you love it and want to upgrade, an in-app purchase enables you to turn your copy of TimeLogger Free into the full version -- and you get to keep the information you have recorded. (Sorry. Apple's rules prevent us from changing the icon, so you will still have the "Free" icon after you upgrade).

We've been hard at work, so please stay tuned for more exciting news to come over the next couple of months!
