Client info not available?
Raul S — Wed, 02/10/2010 - 14:33
Okay... I just updated this thing last night, I was all wound up this morning to put the new features to use
I start a timer but amnot given an option to pick the client, just the job...
Okay, that's not a big issue, try to pick a job, the program say no way, I have to first pick a client..... But the client list is not available!! WhY is wrong with this picture?
So I sent support an e-mail this morning, still no responce... Again, what is wrong with this pic?
So I try to edit the info at the current entries window, still not available.
Man talk about getting frustrated, how am I to know what jobs is which??
And what's up with the stupid math question at the bottom of this page?
I have to tell you guy what 3+1= just to post a question...

Okay... I did get an e-mail
Raul S — Wed, 02/10/2010 - 19:18Okay... I did get an e-mail back today with help concerning my issue.
Turns out it was operator error (what else is new).
The program now allows you to turn items on and off at will... a very nice feature.
Anyhow, I see there is a new tutorial for all the new things in Timelogger so I will go thrue it and get back up to speed.
RE: Client info not available?
costmo — Fri, 02/12/2010 - 14:05And for anyone following up on this...
You can now turn fields off in the input, which could leave you stranded in cases where you leave the Job field enabled, turn the Client field off, and then have no default client set. We will be addressing that specific case in an upcoming release.
As for the requirement to answer a math question to post... Sorry. Without that, the comments and forums get several hundred spams a day. There would be so much garbage that none of the user feedback tools would be useful. We will be working on better ways to handle that in the near future. Actually, it is really a worse way, but it's a way that most people are familiar with handling.
