[UPDATED] Version 1.3.2 submitted to Apple for approval

costmo — Wed, 10/21/2009 - 23:41

[UPDATE 11/04]: We have received word from Apple that version 1.3.2 has been approved and will begin appearing on the app store. It will be a free update for all who have previously purchased TimeLogger. Please see the changes below, and if you are still looking to see if this is the app for you, be sure to check out our screen shots and full description here.[/UPDATE]

We are pleased to announce that TimeLogger version 1.3.2 has been submitted to Apple for approval.  These updates generally take 1 - 2 weeks to hit the app store.  This update will be free for all who currently own TimeLogger or who purchase it between now and the time it is approved.

Here are the new features and fixes

  • Added the ability to sort entries in reverse order (newest items first).
  • Changed emailing of CSV attachments to be an internal function of the device instead of relying on a third party mail service (this was not possible until iPhone/iPod OS version 3.0).
  • Text reports by email are now sent from within TimeLogger rather than exiting to the iPhone mail application.
  • Added the ability for users to request support or provide feedback from within the application.
  • Fixed failure to recover from backup that some people experienced in version 1.3.1.
  • Fixed the placement of the Notes field when selected, which changed due to a difference introduced by Apple in the 3.0 Operating System update.
  • Increased the default font size in the notes field, which was decreased significantly by Apple in the 3.0 Operating System update.
  • Fixed a bug that made selecting "Back" in month view go back two months during some months.
  • Fixed a bug in the population of a stopped timer''s date picker when the start time is in the future and the stop time has already been set.
  • Many code optimizations for OS 3.0 operability.

Screen shots and more complete explanations of these features are available on the TimeLogger main page, which is here.

As always, thank you for your support, and please continue to send us your feature requests.
