Timers Organized by Job
DMcG13 — Mon, 09/29/2008 - 07:51
Caveat: I hope this option doesn't exist and I don't see it!
I would like to be able to start a timer that is pre-assigned to a job/category/client.
In other words when I choose Start Timer, I'm presented with a list of pre-configured projects, and I can just choose which project I want to start timing. Then, when I choose Stop Timer it shows the current running projects, and I can choose which one to stop.

RE: Timers Organized by Job
costmo — Tue, 09/30/2008 - 00:49Hello and thank you for the suggestion.
This capability is on our current Wish List.
The option will play out in one of two ways:
The first option above will be significantly easier to program, but the second option is going to be (we feel) much more user-friendly from an interface standpoint. As such, we are leaning more towards the second option, even though the time to implement may be longer.
We unfortunately don't have an ETA, but we expect this to be part of our next major release (1.3.0, or 2.0.0 if the application features change significantly enough to warrant a major version bump).
Thanks again for taking the time to make a suggestion. We appreciate it!
Timers Organized by Job
