Display of Current Entries hangs after update to version 1.3.0
gcatania — Sun, 07/05/2009 - 11:43
After an update to version 1.3.0 my current entries didn't show any more. The screen hung with a sandbox turning. After a long time (2-3 min) the application ended and the iPhone main screen appeared. This is apparently due to the Week View setting in the configuration defaults. After setting the view to Month, my current entries did show again. This behaviour is reproducible. Is this an error in the app or in the usage?

yes, only hangs with week view
Anonymous — Tue, 07/07/2009 - 11:43changing to month view solves the problem and no data is lost at all.
Lost all data
Anonymous — Mon, 07/06/2009 - 18:09I lost all my data after the update....
I am frustrated.
Could have warned me before the update.
deleted and reinstalled the app (and all it's data).
Start all over again. But when deleting the default categories app crashes.
useless now. Update yes maybe. Downgraded certainly.
RE: Display of Current Entries hangs after update to version 1.3
costmo — Mon, 07/06/2009 - 10:36We just tracked down the cause of this issue, and it has to do with Non-English region formats in the Week View.
We will be able to get an update for this submitted to Apple today or tomorrow (7/6 or 7/7). In the meantime, if you leave the default view at Month (press "Configuration" and then "Defaults" and then "View" and select "Month"), it should avoid any problems.
Thank you for helping us troubleshoot this issue. Your time is very much appreciated.
Works perfectly!
