TimeLogger coming soon

costmo — Mon, 08/18/2008 - 11:06

TimeLogger has been submitted to the App store and should be available through iTunes soon.

Please feel free to leave your feedback or questions in our forums.

Here is the App Store description of TImeLogger:

TimeLogger is an iPhone/iPod Touch version of a web-based application that we have been using for many years to track our development time.  It is designed for professionals who bill by the hour or must account for their time.  It is a set of tools for easily starting timers, stopping timers, calculating the time between start and stop times, and recording the job category, client, task code and notes about the task(s) performed.

This is a special introductory price.  As several new features are implemented, free upgrades will be available to those who purchase version 1.0.

Ideas for future revisions to version 1 include:
- The ability to email reports
- More advanced report sorting and grouping options, such as viewing the output by client and/or job
- Configuration options to auto-select default categories, clients and job codes when stopping a timer
- Configuration options to require input of fields that are always desired
- Remote backup and recovery of stored data via MobileMe and/or WebDAV
- Location awareness to auto-select clients
- Billing and cost calculations

Check out the TimeLogger page for screen shots and more information.  Take a peek at the forums for everything else.
